IMPORTANT NOTE: Exhibitors with island or end-cap exhibit space or those proposing any alterations from these guidelines, including using alternative materials or adding pipe and drape that exceeds eight feet in height, must submit drawings or schematics of the proposed design to theToxExpo Senior Exhibits Manager for approval by February 12, 2027.
All booths must follow these guidelines:
Proper booth construction using permissible drapes, furnishings, signs, and banners is required.
Exhibits must conform to the size of the exhibit space contracted and must be arranged so as not to obstruct the view or interfere with other exhibits. Exhibit material (backwall, banners, equipment, etc.) must not exceed the boundaries of defined and rented exhibit space. Side walls, popup banners, equipment, etc., exceeding four feet in height must be placed within five feet of the exhibit space's back wall. No exhibit material, including but not limited to popup banners, floor covering, or roofing may span into the aisle.
If the exhibit space does not include acceptable carpeting/flooring, carpet will be installed by Shepard at the exhibitor's expense.
Exhibitors are required to finish all walls and structural elements if such structural elements are exposed and visible from an adjacent exhibit or from any angle of visitors' views.
Exposed and unfinished sides of exhibit backgrounds must be draped to present an attractive appearance and to hide any booth material, boxes, crates, electrical cords, etc. behind and/or on the side of any booth. If such draping is not ordered, the ToxExpo Show Manager will order Shepard to install draping at the exhibitor’s expense.
Corporate identification is not permitted on the exposed area adjacent to a neighboring exhibit.
Corporate identification on banners and signs may hang directly above contracted island exhibit space only.
Exhibitors are prohibited from hanging/rigging banners or signs over their exhibit space. All rigging services must be ordered from Shepard.
Monitors placed on exterior walls projecting outward from exhibit space may not project sound. Exhibitors are encouraged to place monitors on interior walls of the exhibit space if their plan is to project sound from a monitor.
Materials used in all parts of the exhibit construction, together with table coverings, curtains, drapery, and other decorative materials must be flameproof as prescribed by the fire ordinance of the city.
Tables must be covered with approved coverings that extend down far enough to screen anything under the table but must clear the floor to meet fire regulations.
Storing packing materials and surplus literature must be confined to areas away from the display area. No packing containers, wrapping materials or display materials may be stored under tables or behind booths. However, a one-day supply of display materials is permitted. All empty cartons or crates must be labeled and removed for storage, or they will be removed as trash. Visit the Shepard service desk to arrange for storage if needed.
Prior to the exhibition opening, ToxExpo Show Management will inspect all booths following the guidelines above. A notification will be left in a booth that has violations, and the exhibitor will be expected to fix the violations before the exposition opens. If the exhibitor does not fix the violations before the exhibition opens, the ToxExpo Show Manager will order Shepard to fix the violations at the exhibitor's expense.
